It's my party!

After Christmas, everyone came over for my first birthday party!

First, all the Zoldak men tried to test me...but I know which one is Dad!

Then Cousin Max helped me blow out the candles on my cake!

I grabbed a fork and Mom let me have some cake!

Oh, yeah, that's good cake!!

What did Santa bring?

No, sorry. You cannot borrow my car. Nope. Sorry. I said no.

Merry Christmas!

Are we going to open the presents or what? Now? How about now?

Over the river and through the woods...

...to Grandmother's house we go! After a 10 hour ordeal in the car (don't ask, my butt is still numb), we finally arrive at Grandma Betty and Grandpa Don's house!

Jail break!

Hi, is anyone out there? Can you please post my bond? At least sneak me a file in a bottle of milk or something?

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

A few weeks ago, Mom and Dad took me to a ski show and told me about this wonderful thing called snow! I'm halfway there to becoming the smallest snow bunny, see?

Then, when I got home, I found a tissue box next to my crib. So instead of taking a nap, I decided to make a snowy crib! Mom was not too happy. Oh, well.

My First Tooth!

What do you mean the "Tooth Fairy" only comes when they fall out?

Trick or Treat!

Sooo, many of you have asked if I got any candy for Halloween. Well, in fact, yes! Yes, I did! Mom let me pick two pieces from the big bowl. I carefully examined...um...about a dozen or so pieces and I selected for myself two boxes of "Nerds." Why? Because they make a lovely sound, of course!! Let me demonstrate:

UPDATE: Uncle Fred came to visit and he ate one of my boxes of Nerds! Now I am down to one box.

Happy Halloween!

Today was the Halloween Parade at my school! I got to ride at the front of the buggy. I was "Baby Shark Reagan" and I was very, very good and I didn't cry at all in my costume! Oh, and Dad came to watch! Hi, Dad, hi!

First I was seated next to "Winnie the Pooh," but then he got fussy...

So then I was next to "Flower Baby"...

Happy Halloween!!

Hey, Dad! You can stop looking up cheat codes online, I beat Gant for you in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

My 9 month checkup

Hi, everyone! Yesterday was my 9 month checkup. I weigh 18 lbs and 14.5 oz (45th percentile). I am 27 and 3/4 inches tall (48th percentile). And my head circumference is 17.25 inches (39th percentile). So my head is catching up a bit! Otherwise, the doctor says that I should be pulling myself up more and crawling off my tummy. Here is how I crawl now...

Hey, whatever gets you around, right? I guess it's gross motor skills boot camp for me this weekend!

(No, no, I know I am not supposed to play with the grate. No, Mom and Dad do not let me play with it. Don't worry, they watch me like a hawk!)

My first art project - Pumpkin faces!

Mom, Dad and I did our first art project last weekend for Halloween! First we went to a fair and picked out a baby pumpkin:

Then Mom printed out some funny faces. Dad cut them all out. We used Mom's sticker machine to make the eyes and noses and mouths sticky. Just one turn of the crank and your done!

And, tah-dah! They are soooo funny! Mine is the one with the pretty eyelashes, of course.

NEW LABELS!

Also, technical note...Mom has added labels to all of the posts. If you scroll down you will see in the left column all of the labels, listed by frequency. So, if you want to see all the posts that involve, say "Uncle Fred," just click on "Fred"! Nice, huh? Mom likes to label things. She is a crazy labeller. Every piece of clothing, bib, bottle, pacifier I own is labelled with my name. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm lucky not to have a label stuck to my forehead.

Go Indians Go!

Mom and I wore our Indian's jerseys last night as we watched the Indians beat the Yankees! Yeah!

We are also ready to go for Friday's game against the Red Sox! Go Tribe!

Yes, Mom is still upset about the Marlins. Please don't ask her to talk about it. Mom says this is our year to make it right.

Nap time!

Ahhh, nothing like a good perpendicular sleep!

A big girl car seat!

I now weigh 18 pounds and so Mom has had a hard time carting me around in my baby car seat. Those of you who know how very tall she is would understand her trouble lifting me and the baby car seat into the back of her Murano. So, I got a new seat! It's a Maxi-Cosi Priori. Here it is next to my baby seat.

Mom likes the "Chanel-like" quilting on the fabric (this fabric option is only available at Target.)

Here I am trying it out! Ooooh...it's comfy.

I can't wait til I get to use the cup holder and the naptime recline. I have to wait til I get to face the front of the car. Sigh, it's something to look forward to I guess!

Cheerleader Reagan

Sometimes I like to do a little cheer with my"pom poms." I call this cheer, "GO, Reagan, GO!"

That varsity captain spot is totally mine, no?

Peek-A-Boo!

Here I am playing Peek-A-Boo with Mom and Dad. I know, I know, you're thinking, "Well, every baby laughs at Peek-A-Boo." But this is different because I am the one hiding from Mom and Dad! Sometimes they are so serious so I try and show them a good time. Take a look:

Visit my Picasa Album for more Peek-A-Boo videos. See you next time...or not!

Luray Caverns

Mom and Dad and I went on a day trip to Luray Caverns, home to many, many stalactites (the ones that hold "tight" to the ceiling) and stalagmites. Here we are at the entrance:

Here is my first look at the rock formations. Ewww. It's not touching my stroller is it?

These rocks are still slimy and wet, they called this section the "Fish Market":

Here the pool of water is so still it makes a perfect reflection of the ceiling. I hope I don't drop my pacifier in there:

Hi, Mom!

Mom! Hold me! The rocks are making funny noises! Oh, that's just the stalactite organ playing!

Grandma and Grandpa Babysit

Well, it finally happened. Mom and Dad wanted to go somewhere without me. It was their 4th wedding anniversary so they went out for dinner. So I got to spend the evening with my grandparents. All I can say is...phew!

First, Grandma has written her own blog post, so you should read that, too.

But I will include some of the videos she took here as well. First, grandma wears me out before bedtime:

And then the next morning, they secretly put me in this swing without telling Mom and Dad:

All I can say is, it's a wonder I made it! Like I said, phew!

Luv you, grandma and grandpa!

Whose ears are these?

Ok, if you are a relative of mine, Mom and Dad would like for you to go and look in a mirror and see if you have the same ears that I do. Yes, they stick out at the top and Mom and Dad want to know where they came from. Go now. I'll wait.

No? Not you? Or maybe it is you and you don't want to confess that you gave me these ears? That's ok, we think they are the cutest ears ever! Even though they tend to fold forward when I lean against things...sigh.

Grandpa Don's Family Reunion

Dad, Mom, Uncle Fred and I travelled to Snowshoe, West Virginia to meet Grandma Betty and Grandpa Don for Grandpa's Family Reunion. This was my first two-night trip away from home!

First, getting there...this is me in the car:

Whoa! Those West Virginia roads are curvy! Thank goodness I was there to comfort Night Night Bunny. He held my hand very tightly when he got scared.

The reunion is hard to find...even with GPS:

We finally arrive and Dad finds me a wildflower:

This is me and Grandma:

She also wrote a wonderful blog entry about our trip!

This is me and Grandpa:

I am so happy to get to spend time with them! We had lots of fun playing and laughing together! Here we are in our hotel. It had three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen (so Mom could make my ummms). Mom made sure to use all three bathrooms at least once. This is me playing in the living room:

We also visited a Civil War Battlefield. There was a field and some graves. And this thing that I examined with Dad, I guess it used to go "kaboooomie!"

Until next year!

I'm 6 months old!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We were having camera trouble and computer trouble. Ahhh, technology! I promise to go back to two posts a week from now on! Since my last post, I passed a milestone - my 6 month birthday!

We celebrated with cake (ok, I didn't get to have cake, just Mom and Dad):

I have also reached two developmental milestones! I now eat "ummms" (solid food) twice a day and I can sit up!! See?

I also had my 6 month checkup. I weighed 16 lbs, 5 oz (55th percentile). I was 26.25 inches tall (70th percentile). And my head circumference was 16.5 in (35th percentile). Until next time, see ya!

My New Chair

Grandpa KC got me this new little chair! It's where I lounge and, you know, read Mom's Instyle Magazine.

It even has my name on! But that has not stopped Chloe from sitting in it. I guess Chloe can't read yet. So I have assigned a seat holder to save my seat while I am gone. See?

Laureen and Matt Visit

Mrs. Laureen and Mr. Matt came to visit us! They brought me some cute outfits! See?

But then, the next day...Dad decided to have fun with the bow that came on the gift box. Hmmm...I'm not so sure that's so funny.

A New School

This week, I started at a new school. I have much more attention and play time here. And Mom and Dad and all my grandparents get to watch me online. See? Here I am:

It's hard to figure out sometimes, but Mom says you can tell which one is me because I am the only one with very little hair! Sigh!

Where the wild things are?

Dad, Mom, and I went to the local garden center last weekend. The place was huge, like a jungle! Except we didn't run into any wild animals. Oh, well. We looked at lots of plants and beautiful landscaping. Here I am in front of a faux waterfall - looks natural doesn't it?

Here I am examing the foliage. Mom doesn't like to touch plants, so I touched them for her.
