So Uncle Fred, Grandpa KC, and my Dad have decided that I should take up cello lessons. I checked, and the smallest cello they make is still taller than I am! Plus, I think I need to start with a simpler instrument.
So Uncle Fred got my a xylophone (phew, that's hard to spell!) for my birthday! I was able to play it right out of the box...see? Who needs private lessons and music theory class and Saturday group lessons? Sorry, people. You're just going to have to wait before you start planning all my afterschool activities.

Yeap, that is the idea. So someday you and uncle Fred can entertain us with duets for violin/viola and cello. Perhaps mom too would like to join in with piano, make it a trio.
